Dear Minister
We wish to forward the following article which appeared in Sri Lankan newspapers exposing the double standards of Australian in dealing with the current Constitutional crisis.
It draws the parallels between the sacking of Whitlam who had a majority in Parliament with that of the Sri Lankan President sacking the Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe,
who also has a majority in the House.
We wish to request you to give the lead by Australia to a call for holding Sri Lankan general election in January as scheduled now to end the exacerbation of the current crisis.
